Hiring Reform
New federal mandates and requirements are focused on government-wide hiring reform goals for streamlining the hiring process. The hiring reform goals included streamlining the application process and requiring more line manager involvement in the hiring process. Because of the significant changes in the hiring process, human resource specialists often need support navigating the changes in hiring reform. AE Strategies has developed multiple training products, from job aids to online training modules, that enhance the line manager’s and human resource specialist’s ability to determine qualified candidates; interview those candidates appropriately; and effectively onboard the new hire. Training is available online at the convenience of the line manager or human resource specialist and can be repeatedly accessed as a refresher, thus reinforcing the newly acquired skills for hiring superior candidates.
