What is it like to work at AE Strategies?
At AE Strategies, the best way to serve the organization is to serve the client to the best of one’s ability. AE Strategies does not have a bureaucratic regime. The client is the judge of an employee’s performance, not an internal manager who may not be as aware of how well an employee is serving a client.
The culture at AE Strategies is rather unique because the culture is based solely on how well an employee serves the client. “Playing the game” at AE Strategies only involves providing stellar service to federal agencies and, if desired, creating new business opportunities in which an employee is monetarily compensated. An employee’s job tasks feed the needs of the client, not the culture of the organization, so employees are not burdened with performing company duties such as conducting peer performance reviews or serving on company panels.
Why did you decide to join AE Strategies and what keeps you here?
I was seeking a small company culture that allowed me to pursue my entrepreneurial leanings and receive compensation. I also wanted to be rewarded for my strong client focus work ethic. I have worked in large Fortune 100 companies and I was always personally stymied by the amount of time I had to spend feeding the company culture to get ahead. At AE Strategies, I am rewarded for my client work and also monetarily compensated for bringing in new business. I have had the strongest feeling of success working for an organization with my association with AE Strategies.
What is your relationship with your client? What projects have you/are you working on?
I owned my own human resources consulting business for over fifteen years so I truly understand the importance of developing strong relationships with clients. They are the lifeblood for any client service organization. With AE Strategies, I have the wonderful opportunity to provide my clients with the solutions they need to remedy their human capital challenges. I am not forced to sell products, tools or services that my clients don’t need to meet a company quota. I have supported several unique projects that engaged my human capital background and allowed me to introduce new processes to our federal clients. I serve as a trusted advisor to my clients and use my expertise to support their goals to meet their agency’s mission.
What would you tell a prospective employee about AE Strategies?
As a growing consulting company, AE Strategies creates a platform for all employees to excel in their area of expertise in a performance-driven culture. Employees work exclusively with their clients in a company culture that rewards strong client relationships and supports an employee’s desire for work/life balance.
